October 29, 2022 was a sunny and warm day to be outside at Indian Lake County Park for the 2nd Annual Fall Wonder and Adventure Outing. We had 44 kids in attendance from Vera Court Neighborhood Center, Northport and Packer Community Center, and from the community at large. New this year, the Department of Natural Resources brought their Fish Mobile and taught the kids how to cast a fishing rod and tie knots. Thank you Therese Stabo for your participation. In addition, Paul Williams was there to help the kids make discovery lenses. Other activities included making s’mores over the fire, taking a discovery hike and playing a game about deer habitat.
