6th Annual Fall Wonder and Adventure Outing – 2026

Get Kids Outside invites you this fall event at Indian Lake County Park
• Hike the beautiful trails at the park.
• Cook s’mores over a fire.
• Learn about the animals at the park.
• Engage in educational activities.
This event is designed for school age through middle school-aged children and their families especially children and families who attend community centers and other non-profit programs and schools in Dane County. The event strives to have all children be present to the wonder and awe of nature and for them to see themselves as powerful. It is sponsored by Get Kids Outside, BIPOC Birding Club of Wisconsin, Ice Age Trail Alliance, the Department of Natural Resources and Dane County Parks.
This event is free of charge.
